Verband Lebensmittel ohne Gentechnik e.V.

Founded in March 2010, the Verband Lebensmittel ohne Gentechnik e.V. (VLOG - Association Food without Genetic Engineering) represents food manufacturers and retailers as well as sectors upstream and downstream in food production. VLOG advocates food production without GMOs, it engages in consumer information about GMOs and it allows licensees the use of the standardized seal "Ohne GenTechnik" on manufactured food products that meet their standards. By July 2014 the Association's membership exceeded 194 members. So far most licensees are from Germany and their combined annual sales are more than 114 billion euros.
