Delivery Hero plans 450-million-euro IPO on Frankfurt exchange

German food delivery service Delivery Hero plans to raise 450 million euros (506 million dollars) in an initial public offering (IPO) in the coming months.

Rocket Internet - Germany's main tech investor, which owns 36 per cent in the food delivery company - said in a statement that it aimed to sell existing and new-issued shares and that the company would be listed on the Frankfurt exchange.

Founded in Berlin in 2011, Delivery Hero serves some 40 markets in Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and Asia Pacific. Its revenues in 2016 amounted to 347 million euros and it currently has 6,000 employees. (dpa)
