Origin of the association The Zentralverband der Milcherzeuger in Bayern e.V. was founded in 1954 by the milk producer committees of the seven administrative districts of Bavaria. It was recognized by the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry and entered in the register of associations at the Munich District Court on 5 February 1955. Association of milk producers since the end of 2006 With an amendment to the articles of association passed by the general meeting on December 15, 2006, the Zentralverband der Milcherzeuger in Bayern e.V. became the Verband der Milcherzeuger Bayern e.V. (Association of Bavarian Milk Producers). The Verband der Milcherzeuger Bayern e.V. (VMB) has the task of representing the economic and organizational interests of Bavarian milk producers, promoting professional education in the field of milk production and milk treatment and providing expert advice to state bodies. The General Assembly has 16 delegates, who are allocated to the administrative districts in accordance with a key defined in the articles of association based on milk supply.
