The Association of Austrian Breweries represents the interests of the Austrian brewing industry. It represents the largest sector of the domestic food industry as part of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber's Association of the Food and Beverage Industry. In the association, elected officials and employees of the Chamber of Commerce work together in the service of the brewing industry. Our common goal is to create an economic, legal and socio-political environment in which breweries have the best possible framework conditions for their business activities. The central task of the Association of Breweries is to represent the interests of the industry within the Chamber of Commerce and externally. The association's main contacts are the authorities and social partners, other interest representation organizations, political parties and the media, as well as legislative bodies. In addition to representing interests, the Association of Breweries also sees itself as a service center for its members. This includes, in particular, personal advice, regular newsletters, support with test cases and special legal advice. The Austrian Brewers' Association is also a platform for international industry contacts, for example as a voice in the European brewers' association "The Brewers of Europe".
