Die Freien Brauer is an association of 39 medium-sized family breweries in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg that are independent of corporate groups and have been family-owned for generations. Each of us is a self-confident, independent entrepreneur - and wants to stay that way. The independent brewers are more than just an economic cooperation: they are a community of like-minded, self-confident family breweries that are leaders in their respective home regions. The preservation of the diversity of authentic, unadulterated beer specialties and a healthy regional economic structure, in short: the preservation of the art of brewing and the way of life is our central concern. As a strong community of successful family breweries, we stand up for these values. Based on our seven values, we form an effective network that contributes to the individual success of each member of our community. The unrestricted willingness to cooperate and the active commitment of each individual form the foundation for our success. As a group of strong brands, we shape the positive image of our traditional beer culture - today and in the future.
