The story of icecap began with the simple longing of its young inventor: the longing for the best ice cream at home. For a milk ice cream, which should be as creamy and full-bodied as the one in the Italian Gelateria around the corner - but without the high fat content, e.g. in American ice cream varieties.

But the years of searching for this digestible pleasure ice-cream were in vain. So our inventor remembered her cultural roots and combined her personal passion for best ice cream with ingredients from Asian cuisine. With a lot of love and devotion, a completely new product with an extraordinary taste experience was created. And what began in a small kitchen somewhere in a Berlin backyard quickly conquered the regional gourmet scene with many lovers.
