Basically, we prefer to talk about our products rather than about us, but it's clear that you would like to know who's stirring in your soup. Besides some fantastic and socially halfway tolerable employees, there are two people in particular. Yvi and Jörg, head and heart of our eventful company.

Moving because our company biography was as exciting as our private life - because it's actually the same. Originally, both learned something proper. Unfortunately we have forgotten what it was. Something about massaging and street cleaning. Anyway - the point came early, when we decided as a two-person team to escape the hamster wheel of wage labour and start our own business. That is great - they said. You work only for yourself, without a boss - they said. Self-determined and soon to be prosperous, secure - they said. We had no idea.

We started to deal with nutrition at a relatively early stage. It was not always easy, sometimes even really complicated and above all much more expensive than going to the American, but well-being and health were worth it. We never wanted to sell anything else and we never will. From the very beginning it was part of this diet to traditionally make our own broths and sauces. This was quite normal and part of our products but at first it was not a separate business. Until the day when the urge to start a family made life in the catering trade impossible. After 20 years in the business, simply everything became too much, too many construction sites, too many kilometres, too little time.

We restructured, rebuilt the kitchen and began to implement our idea of what a good broth is. Organic was clear, but organic is also a watered-down term nowadays, which was simply not enough for us. Stretching organic dry measures with water is not a problem so we cooked them from scratch. Each bottle after own recipe with best ingredients and no bullshit. Sounds simple, but it is by no means so with the quantities produced. We do it anyway, because it is what we would want to eat ourselves - less is out of the question. Yes, of course: Everything is very pathetic, heard 1000 times and then a little yeast extract is added. We won't do that, I promise, before we close the place down. Product image Founder image

In the centre of our business is what is at the beginning. The products that under our hands become what you can order here. Above all, what is animal, needs in its selection the greatest ethical criteria. We are not vegetarians but we know very well how to eat vegetarian food. When we process animals, we do so with the best possible conscience. Long life, good breeding, second use and small suppliers are just some of the standards we apply when it comes to our ingredients.

But that is not enough for us. Our manufactory and its philosophy include concepts of social commitment and ecological production methods. The fact that all electrical energy is supplied from renewable sources seems almost self-evident, but we also go off the beaten track in logistics. Packing and dispatch take place in the rooms of our friends of Lebenshilfe. Physically and mentally handicapped employees make a fundamental part of our added value there - we are proud that the workshop is part of our team.

Here we stand, Yvonne and Jörg against the rest of the food industry. We don't want to missionize with words, but with taste. The healthiest food is still shit if it doesn't taste good. Our claim is what distinguishes us and you will taste it.
