The small village of Biebelhausen is nestled in the scenic surroundings of the Saarburger Land, just a few kilometers from Trier and the border with Luxembourg. Biebelhausen has been the headquarters of our traditional company since the 17th century.

We are characterized by a long baking tradition, a high level of expertise and a strong relationship with natural products.

In 1928, a bakery was added to the traditional mill and later also a confectionery. Today, the bakery and confectionery employ around 800 people. We combine classic baking tradition and the know-how of the bakery trade with state-of-the-art production technology. All raw materials and end products are constantly monitored by internal quality assurance staff, because the highest quality is the recipe for Biebelhausener Mühle's success.

Our products are sold in grocery stores and in 66 of our own branches, mainly in neighboring Saarland, the Trier region, the Eifel, Hunsrück and Luxembourg. Several show bakeries are attached to the main plant in Ayl-Biebelhausen in the checkout areas of large international retailers.

Since March 2003, the traditional Bescheider Mühle bakery, which has been certified with the eco-audit, has been part of the Biebelhausener Mühle company. In Bescheid, the regionally very popular Bescheider Mühlenbrot, a wood-fired bread baked in a beech wood-fired oven, is baked according to an original recipe handed down over the years.
