2001 was a memorable and groundbreaking year for the vegan scene in Germany. The Absolute Vegan Empire, AVE for short, emerged from the animal rights group "absolut". Our founder, Tobias Graf, created the first vegan wholesale business out of his innermost convictions at a time when veganism still had little place in our society, in order to make access to vegan food easier or even possible for vegans in the first place. The first steps quickly turned into a great success that continues to this day and is far from over - it has only just begun. With its extensive full range of vegan foods, AVE supplies wholesalers, food retailers, communal catering, system catering, hotels, caterers and restaurants, cafés, organic food stores and health food shops and all retailers who want to expand their range to include vegan foods.

This was followed in 2004 by the two own brands VANTASTIC FOODS and VEGAN BAKERY. The two own brands are characterized by their diversity. The highest quality, select ingredients and careful production are the top priority here. The range extends from aromatic spices to hearty meat and sausage alternatives, soy meat, delicious baked goods and vegan treats, such as jackalode in a variety of flavors, spreads and gelatine-free fruit gums. Of course, our own vegan brands are also available wholesale and are becoming increasingly popular, even with non-vegans.

2006 was the founding year of the vegan lifestyle brand AVENGING ANIMALS. Self-confident motifs characterize this fashion and lifestyle brand. The VEGGIE SNACK BAR also entered the vegan stage in 2006. Since then, the VEGGIE SNACK BAR team has been feeding its hungry visitors at trade fairs, street days, concerts and festivals in Germany and Austria with great passion and attention to culinary detail.

In 2007, the new premises for the wholesale business were built in Nabburg. The signs of the times spoke for AVE and the constantly increasing demand from retailers and the fruitful and friendly cooperation required the expansion and relocation in order to be able to adequately serve the high demand.

In 2008, the completion of the new company building for vegan wholesale was followed by the move to Nabburg and the takeover of the online store ALLES-VEGETARISCH.DE. With over 2000 articles in the constantly expanding purely plant-based range, ALLES-VEGETARISCH.DE is the European market leader.

The history of Absolute Vegan Empire is a success story that could hardly be better written. Independent and as a competent partner in Europe-wide wholesale, the market leader has become an integral part of the food industry.
