Wiegand-Glas is one of the top four glass container manufacturers in Germany and manufactures at three plants in Steinbach am Wald (Bavaria), Großbreitenbach and Schleusingen (Thuringia) daily more than five million glass containers for the beverage and food industry. Nikolaus Wiegand and Oliver Wiegand run the successful family-owned company in the 4th Generation, relying on tradition and modern technology at the same time. The group has about 1,250 employees and generated 2013 consolidated within Europe recorded sales of around EUR 374 million.
