Good for the animals, good for us all. Independent experts have formulated ambitious but realistic proposals to end animal suffering, promote animal welfare and strengthen animal protection. They represent significant progress for the animals, but not at the expense of domestic, small-scale farming. Here you can see our programme at a glance, here is the commented list of demands. Some demands of the petition for a referendum on animal protection are interdependent and must therefore be regarded as a complete package, they build on each other. For example, the conversion to a form of agriculture that is fair to the animals requires appropriate support and demand from the public authorities and consumers.
