Elbe-Obst Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH consists of an association of trading companies formed in 1994 and the Elbe-Obst Erzeugerorganisation r. V., in order to meet the demand for concentration on the procurement side. It supplies the food retail trade, the export market, the convenience sector and the processing industry. The GmbH is listed with the customers and is responsible for preparing quotations, invoicing, collection and shipping. The shareholders have an extensive fleet of vehicles at their disposal.

In addition to pome, stone and berry fruit from the Altes Land region, the company also markets products from the convenience sector as well as vegetables and herbs. The GmbH thus brings together key products from the green range under one roof and utilizes the resulting synergy effects, offering "cultivation and marketing from a single source" by combining producer know-how and sales expertise in a contractual association.
