MEGA can look back on a long tradition. It all began as a purchasing and supply cooperative for the butcher's trade more than 70 years ago. A lot has happened in the meantime, and MEGA is now the largest German butchers' cooperative. With four locations throughout Baden-Württemberg, MEGA acts as a full-range supplier for the entire butcher's trade and the catering trade. In Stuttgart alone, MEGA operates an EU-approved production and cutting plant in addition to a C+C market covering over 9,000 square meters. In the Stuttgart C+C store, customers can choose from over 50,000 specialist items for butchers, restaurants and the food industry. For example, in addition to fresh meat from its own slaughtering and butchering facilities and in-house sausage and ham production, MEGA offers an extensive range of fresh and smoked fish as well as delicatessen products. This also includes over 2,000 wines and spirits, over 2,000 frozen and convenience products and more than 1,000 types of cheese and dairy products. The daily fresh market produce in the fruit and vegetable section underlines MEGA's freshness expertise. MEGA also meets all the requirements of a full-range retailer in the non-food sector. With the largest selection of workwear in southern Germany, in-house name and logo embroidery and a range of catering supplies from A for storage containers to Z for sugar shakers, MEGA meets all expectations. Even complete kitchen furnishings including CAD planning are available from MEGA alongside professional machines and appliances. In order to be able to supply its more than 7,000 specialist customers, MEGA has a delivery service with more than 40 of its own multi-compartment refrigerated vehicles, which are on the road throughout Baden-Württemberg and sometimes even beyond, in the service of the customer.
