Synomed GmbH

Synomed GmbH, based in Elmshorn near Hamburg in Schleswig-Holstein, was founded in 1983 by two pharmacists and initially focused exclusively on the contract manufacturing of pharmaceuticals. Over the years, pharmaceutical products have been developed and manufactured for many well-known pharmaceutical companies in Germany and abroad. Naturally in strict compliance with the guidelines of the German Medicines Act and the supervision of the State Medicines Monitoring Agency.

In order to take account of the changing circumstances in the healthcare sector (healthcare reform, etc.), the company began to focus on the product groups of food supplements, dietary products, functional food and probiotics at a very early stage. Not only did the company begin to develop and manufacture these product groups for well-known companies, but it also decided to develop its own product line, which was also created according to the latest scientific findings and legal guidelines.
