MONHEIMER BIERMANUFACTUR GMBH

The art of brewing has a long tradition in Monheim. Traces of barley juice production can be traced back to the Middle Ages. The first documented mention of a brewery in the then still young Rhine municipality dates back to 1262.

After industrialization in the 19th century and the golden years of the Peters and Bambeck private brewery until 2004, the Monheim beer location came to an end. The team at Monheimer Biermanufactur now want to change that. They want to continue the tradition - with a "Biermanufactur" in the heart of the old town.

The interior is "rustic and cozy". Wood and stainless steel characterize the look. Young and old alike should feel at home here. "We want to bring the brewery culture into the modern age without losing its charm." A diverse range of beers is brewed directly on site.

Up to five hectoliters can be produced in one brewing process. Seasonal beers and unusual varieties are also planned. There is also a menu with regional and typical brewery delicacies.
