Erich Meinass founded the Jupiter appliance factory in the Lüneburg Heath back in 1950.

Back then, bakery machine production began with the manufacture of TK series fat baking appliances. This was followed by tempering appliances, pretzel ovens and leaven dipping systems.

Since then, JUFEBA products have impressed with their quality, reliability and durability. In 1982, the company was taken over by Mr. Günther Heim and continued under the name Günther Heim Gerätebau GmbH.

In the 1980s, the development and series production of the WW and WW-A series of boiling-baking appliances and cream stoves began. This was followed in the 1990s by the AF series of automatic fryers and, since 2003, the UFD series of universal continuous fryers with capacities of up to 2,800 baked products per hour have been available.

The next generational change in the company management took place in 2007. Since then, the company has been run by Mr. Mathias Schulz under the name Heim Gerätebau GmbH & Co. KG.
