Trafo - Spezial Rudolf & Peter Gesslauer GbR

The company Trafo - Spezial was founded by the then owner Rudolf Gesslauer in 1968. Initially, we started with the development and production of special transformers, hence the name Trafo - Spezial. In 1978, we began developing small-zone generators and were able to deliver the first industrially suitable device in 1982. Also in 1982, we applied for a patent for our invention, which was also granted in several countries around the world under German Patent No. DE 32 08 895 C2. In the meantime, some special areas of application have been protected by utility model law. The patented technology of the small ozone generators allows a high ozone yield with a very compact design and low power requirement. This enables the use of ozone as a disinfectant/oxidizing agent even in areas of application in which the use of ozone was previously not possible for economic reasons. R. Gesslauer was a member of the OZON working group of the DVGW for a long time and was instrumental in the revision of the ozone DIN 19627 and the accident prevention regulation ZH 1/474. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance, revised version of May 21, 2001, ozone is generally approved as a disinfectant/oxidizing agent for drinking water and for water in food processing plants. Ozone can be used as a disinfectant and oxidizing agent in practically all areas in which water has to be handled.
