Shards bring business ideas. If Dennis Schipper's little son hadn't dropped his jam jar at breakfast, he would never have told his two long-time handball friends Daniel Hutschenreuter and Max Ehmig about the sticky breakfast sourness. The idea of putting a fruit spread in a break-proof tube would never have come about. But the glass fell down and Marmetube's idea was born.

The Hamburg food start-up Marmetube obviously hit the zeitgeist with its business idea.

With the motto "breakfast freedom" and the four varieties strawberry, raspberry, apricot and sour cherry, Marmetube offers its customers the freedom to have breakfast wherever they are and whenever they want - whether classically at the breakfast table, camping or on the park bench on the Elbe.

The fruit spread from the practical tube does not require the addition of colouring agents, concentrates or syrup and ensures a fruity taste experience with 66% fruit content.

Together with Lars Visser, who was previously responsible for sales at Groupon and Campari, the four-man Marmetube team is now conquering the Republic's breakfast tables.
