Behind NEOH is not a giant corporation that could afford Neymar's football transfer, but real people. One of them is Manuel.

Manuel is an enthusiastic footballer from the Waldviertel and regularly drove through the country to his championship games. On his way back he was often overcome by a little hunger, which is why he stocked up with chocolate bars at the nearest petrol station. What a dilemma: Smartwatch, which showed him his calorie consumption on one hand, and sugar bombs on the other.

But when Manuel stood hungry at the gas station again after a match, his conscience plagued him. He took a look at the nutrition tables and, after much deliberation, took the protein bar. Just stupid that it just didn't taste good. "Why isn't there a bar that's good and healthy?"

Manuel didn't let go of this question. He began a self-study in food chemistry and experimented for three years to find the perfect recipe for a protein-rich, enjoyable bar. In the course of his journey, Manuel picked up further comrades-in-arms - a party-happy marketing fuzzi, a pea-counting project manager, a Monk-like sales professional and great business angels who have been at his side with advice, action and passion ever since.
