Ricola AG is one of the most modern and innovative candy manufacturers in the world. Ricola exports over 40 different varieties of herbal sweets and teas to more than 50 countries. The family-owned company has its headquarters in Laufen near Basel and subsidiaries in France, Italy, the UK, Asia and the USA. Ricola has been in the hands of the family since it was founded by Emil Richterich in 1930. Today, Felix Richterich is the third generation of the family to manage the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors. This is why Ricola attaches great importance to the excellent quality of its raw materials, especially the herbs, which are cultivated according to natural principles in the Swiss mountain region.

Ricola AG is also committed to economically, socially and ecologically sustainable corporate management and is a responsible employer for around 400 employees. RICOLA FACTORY TOURS

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to open the doors to our production facilities for hygiene reasons. As Ricola produces food and medicines, strict Swissmedic hygiene regulations apply to production. Unfortunately, our production facilities do not have the infrastructure required for guided tours, such as visitor stands and corridors or an information center. For reasons of hygiene and pharmaceutical law, we are therefore unable to offer factory tours.
