Like any good and successful product, Bavarian farmer's milk can look back on a long tradition.

Good taste and high quality don't just happen, they have to be worked hard for. Behind it all are people with high standards for what they do and a good deal of vision. On June 13, 1926, 85 dairy farmers came together to form the Miesbach Milk Processing Cooperative in the tavern hall of the Wendelstein Inn in Miesbach, thus laying the foundation for the high quality level of Bavarian farmers' milk that still exists today. The statutes of the "Business and Milk Delivery Regulations of the Dairy Cooperative" from 1926 state: "The most important object of the dairy cooperative is the establishment and maintenance of a dairy or milk collection point for the best possible utilization of the milk of its members". And further: "I hereby undertake to deliver the quantity of milk obtained in my business and not required for my own household and stable consumption in a good, pure, unadulterated state...punctually and conscientiously".
