The renowned sports physician Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt gave his name to [formula] Müller-Wohlfahrt Health & Fitness AG because his name, his work, his knowledge and his experience stand for concepts, for therapy suggestions and for a way of life that he would like to convey and spread with this company.

He does not see sport and physical fitness in isolation, but in the necessary interplay with nutrition, physiological and psychological factors. He is convinced that most people can enjoy a better quality of life if nutritional deficiencies are balanced out and environmental stresses are compensated for.

With this objective in mind, [formula] Müller-Wohlfahrt Health & Fitness AG develops, produces and distributes over-the-counter medicines and medical products for therapy as well as nutritional supplements for prevention and health support.

Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt began his medical studies in 1963 (doctorate in 1971). He completed his specialist training under the direction of Prof. Dr. Hofmeister at the Orthopaedic Clinic of the Rudolf Virchow Hospital in Berlin. In 1975, he became the club doctor for the soccer club Hertha BSC Berlin.

As a specialist in orthopaedics and sports medicine, Dr. Müller-Wohlfahrt settled in Munich in April 1977 and took over the medical care of FC Bayern Munich. He has also looked after the national soccer team since 1996 and numerous top athletes from all over the world consult him regularly. In May 2008, he opened a state-of-the-art center for orthopaedics and sports medicine on 1,600 square meters in the Alter Hof in Munich.
