Moritz Werner will take over as head of Delica AG from 1 January 2027. The company produces many well-known Migros own-brand products, such as Chocolat Frey, Delizio coffee, Farmer and Blévita.

Delica AG is set for a change in leadership with effect from the start of 2027. Moritz Werner, a management executive from within the company who has many years of experience at Migros Industrie, will take over. Thomas Gubler is retiring after three years as CEO of Delica and a career within the company spanning 40 years. Delica, which has several production locations in Switzerland, develops and manufactures a large number of well-known Migros own-brand products.

Moritz Werner has many years of experience at Migros Industrie, Chocolat Frey and Delica. In his most recent role, he headed up Supply Chain & Operations (SCO) at Delica. Prior to that, he was responsible for international operations and played a key role in driving forward Delica’s coffee and chocolate business segments. Before joining Migros, he worked as a consultant at Roland Berger’s Consumer Goods & Retail Competence Center.

Thomas Gubler has played a key role in shaping Delica over the past few years. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened its role as an integrated producer for the Migros food formats and has consistently focused its international business operations on a small number of longstanding customers. This strategic focus has proven successful – particularly in the Nespresso- compatible coffee capsule and chocolate segments. After working for Migros for 40 years, Thomas Gubler will retire at the end of 2026.
