CfiA Rennes 2016: Focus on consumer needs - GNT to present its colouring foods range

25-Feb-2016 - Netherlands

The colour of food and beverages has a significant influence on the purchase decision. One third of consumers worldwide consider the appearance of a product to be a decisive aspect. At the same time, people are increasingly health-conscious: 60 percent of Europeans, Asians and Americans wish for food and drinks to do without artificial additives, like synthetic colourants. This is one result of a global survey, conducted by market research institute TNS on behalf of the GNT Group, pioneer and leading global provider of Colouring Foods.

A natural colour solution for almost every application: at CfiA Rennes, the GNT Group will showcase its EXBERRY® Colouring Foods which provide a wide array of vibrant yet natural colour shades.

At CfiA, to be held in Rennes, France, from 8th to 10th March, GNT will be on-site to show that manufacturers do not have to choose between vibrantly coloured and natural products. The family-owned company will be inviting visitors to stand A42 in hall 8 to learn more about current nutrition trends and how to enable manufacturers to fulfil the growing needs of their customers. With its EXBERRY® brand, GNT provides the widest range of Colouring Foods on the market. They are made exclusively from fruits, vegetables and edible plants and are ideal to impart bright shades to almost every product category – simply by colouring food with food.

“We support food and beverage manufacturers in finding the ideal colour solutions for their products and in driving their innovations by combining brilliance and stability with naturalness and clear label products”, says Baptiste Mattelin, Managing Director of GNT France SARL. “Our Colouring Foods do not only meet today’s trend towards more natural food and beverages, if communicated clearly on the packaging, they can also help to increase a product’s market share.”
