Beer has been brewed in Frankfurt (Oder) for over 600 years. Carthusian monks have been developing and refining the art of fermenting beer from water, malt and hops in the Frankfurt suburb of Guben since 1396. The history of the beer city of Frankfurt (Oder) shows that before 1939, 27 municipal breweries were still known as small and medium-sized businesses. The city's brewing history was interrupted in 1945 with the destruction and dismantling of the Frankfurter Ostquell-Brauerei AG on Ferdinandsberg, the city's largest brewery up to that time, and could only be continued with the opening of the Oderland-Brauerei (now Frankfurter Brauhaus) in 1988. The regional brands brewed today give Frankfurter Brauhaus GmbH and the brewing location of Frankfurt (Oder) their own identity. Beer needs a home, and our brands have found this as typical local beer brands in the state of Brandenburg.

In our modern production facilities, experienced brewers carefully and patiently monitor compliance with traditional recipes in accordance with the German Purity Law. Food safety has the highest priority in our company. That is why we fulfill the requirements of the "International Food Standard" (IFS 6.0). These requirements are checked by an external organization in annual audits and the results are confirmed.
