Established expertise, new approaches: Christian Blum takes over as managing director of DREIDOPPEL. The specialist in the food industry brings not only expertise, but also drive for innovation, partnership and international growth.

From 1 January 2026, the management team at DREIDOPPEL consists of Christian Blum and Dr Mathias Warwel, who has held the position since 2017. Blum succeeds Armin Gagel, who has played a key role in shaping the company over the past 27 years in various leading positions, including marketing, key account management and sales. As managing director since 2014, he has implemented numerous future-oriented investment projects, such as the new production facility for liquid products, the warehouse expansion and spray drying for flavours. The latter enables a targeted expansion of the flavour portfolio and the development of new market areas. Armin Gagel also expanded the company's position in the domestic and international markets for fine bakery and ice cream manufacturing.
Strong links to the food business
With the appointment of Christian Blum, DREIDOPPEL is setting the course for the coming years. The trained master confectioner and food technologist comes from a family of bakers. With his many years of experience in the food business, the new managing director brings not only comprehensive expertise but also an extensive network to the management of the company. Christian Blum has been working at DREIDOPPEL as sales director since January 2025.
Prospects for the new year
For 2026, the new managing director is focusing on product innovations, partnerships and international growth: "We want to consistently carry forward our spirit of innovation, stay on top of trends and initiate new developments in the field of flavours.
