HEUFT InLine II IXS:  X-ray assisted empty bottle inspector sets completely new standards

The only system of its kind to combine proven detection procedures with pulsed X-ray technology

19-Nov-2015 - Germany

The HEUFT InLine II IXS sets completely new standards as the first empty bottle inspector of the new generation of devices and the only system of its kind to combine proven Detection procedures with pulsed X-ray technology!

It defines the state of the art with more automation, computing power and user friendliness as well as pulsed X-ray technology: the HEUFT InLine II IXS makes the continuous all-around inspection of empty bottles easier and more precise than ever before!

HEUFT InLine II IXS:  X-ray assisted empty bottle inspector based on the HEUFT SPECTRUM II series

The exactness when detecting shell-shaped fractures, chips or glass splinters on the bottom of a bottle opens up new dimensions due to the unique pulsed X-ray technology. A glass in glass detection is even possible when the transparent foreign object is surrounded by residual liquid. For this the HEUFTInLine II IXS produces extremely clear X-ray images without any motion blurs and with minimum radiation exposure. These are analysed in real time by the HEUFT reflexx² image processing system just like the detection pictures generated by the superior optical modules.

The conveyor belt of the empty bottle inspector is driven by precisely working servo motors so that the inspection covers the complete container volume. Thus a specifically adjustable angle of rotation is implemented for each individual type of container – the bottles are correctly positioned and aligned at all the detection units. In addition the servo technology reduces the proportion of components prone to wear and makes product changes particularly fast and easy due to clearly reproducible brand adjustments. The audiovisual HEUFT NaVi user guidance ensures maximum simplicity and transparency.
