Change in the Management of Conditorei Coppenrath & Wiese KG

Peter Schmidt retires

Peter Schmidt (62), a member of Conditorei Coppenrath & Wiese`smanagement board responsible for Marketing & Sales, Finance & Administration and Product Development (R&D) since December 1, 2015, has asked the company's advisory board to cancel his contract in order to retire effective March 1, 2024. The Advisory Board of Conditorei Coppenrath & Wiese KG very much regrets this decision but accepts it and thanks Peter Schmidt for his very successful work in the further development of the company, especially also during its integration into the structures of the Oetker Group, which Coppenrath & Wiese had taken over in June 2015, and wishes him all the best for the coming phase of his life.

Dr. August Oetker KG

Before joining Coppenrath & Wiese, Schmidt worked for 26 years in the Oetker Group: first in the Business Administration Department of the holding company Dr. August Oetker KGand then as Senior Executive Manager in International Controlling at Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG. As a valued colleague at the national companies for which he was responsible, he acted in both an advisory and a formative capacity and made a significant contribution to their success, including numerous acquisitions. The management of Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG would therefore also like to thank him very muchfor the many successful years of his work.

Effective March 1, 2024, Kasper von Bockum (41), who has held various internationalpositions in the Oetker Group since 2010 and most recently was Senior Executive Manager Corporate Development at Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG, will take over Peter Schmidt's responsibilities as a new member of the Management Board of Coppenrath & Wiese. For a transitional period, von Bockum will also continue to be responsible for the project management of the growth and efficiency program within Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG.
