Crespel & Deiters Group has appointed Frank Kreß as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will take up his position on October 15, 2025. His predecessor Dr. Inge Hohrath is leaving the company at her own request after three years.

With Frank Kreß, the group is gaining an experienced leader: the trained banker and business economist has many years of CFO and management experience in family businesses and corporations, including the automotive supply and air filtration industries. He has also worked as a consultant to various small and medium-sized enterprises. As CFO, Frank Kreß will be responsible for financial planning, investment & cost control, accounting & corporate finance, procurement, legal & compliance, information technology and it business processes. The position of group-wide CFO will remain an external appointment in order to integrate a broader perspective into the long-term management of the family-owned company.

Since joining the company in August 2022, Dr. Inge Hohrath has strategically and operationally developed finance, HR and IT. She is stepping down for personal reasons. Frank Kreß will continue to pursue the course set so far with all projects and initiatives in the area of finance, steering the group of companies forward and supporting important investment projects.

The Crespel & Deiters Group is continuing with its planned generational changes in management, so that with the departure of Gustav Deiters at the end of 2025, the baton will be handed over to the sixth generation management team, consisting of Philipp Deiters, Frederick Deiters, Steffen von Glahn and Frank Kreß.
