CrespelDeiters Executive Board 2026

Shareholders of the Crespel & Deiters Group have appointed Frederick Deiters to the Executive Board as of January 1, 2026 – a milestone moment which will see management of the family-run company pass entirely to the sixth generation. The new Executive Board will consist of three family members and one external member. Gustav Deiters will step down from his active management role on December 31, 2025, after more than 41 years with the company.

From 2026, the Crespel & Deiters Group will be led by Philipp Deiters (CSO Food), Frederick Deiters (CSO Industrial Solutions), Steffen von Glahn (COO), and Frank Kreß (CFO). Frederick has been supporting the Crespel & Deiters Group since January 15, 2024: As Global Head of Industrial Solutions, he was previously responsible for sales and product management around the world.

Gustav Deiters is handing over a strategically developed and sustainable group of companies to the next generation. He joined the company on September 1, 1984, was granted power of attorney in 1986, and became managing partner on January 1, 1987. With a comprehensive development plan that included a realignment toward industrially used raw materials, high-performance adhesives for corrugated cardboard and functional food ingredients, he successfully guided Crespel & Deiters through an economically challenging phase from 1987 to 1989. From 1990 to 2024, Crespel & Deiters was able to increase both its sales and raw material processing, and in particular significantly improve its market positioning. Under the leadership of Gustav Deiters, the original wheat starch factory evolved into a group of companies that is now one of the leading suppliers of high-performance adhesives for corrugated cardboard and an internationally oriented specialist in starch and protein ingredients for the food industry.

Gustav Deiters will be honoured at a company-wide ceremony on January 23, 2026. At the same time, the new Executive Board will present the long-term corporate strategy. After stepping down from the management board, Gustav Deiters will continue to play an active role as a shareholder and share his extensive industry knowledge with various supervisory and advisory boards, and industry associations.
