Pacific Northwest instrumentation manufacturer, Felix Instruments – Applied food science, has announced a joint marketing collaboration with Hanna Instruments United States Inc. Together, both organizations will work to promote and integrate each other's products and services in order to help fresh produce growers expand their testing capabilities.

Hanna’s line of affordable and approachable analytical instruments are used in numerous fresh produce quality assurance labs to test specific produce parameters such as sugar levels, acidity, and trace compounds. Felix Instruments brings fresh produce quality testing out of the lab and into the field with its line of sophisticated yet portable food science tools, including the F-750 Produce Quality Meter—a light-weight, battery-powered device that uses near-infrared spectroscopy to non-destructively measure quality factors from dry matter and total soluble solids (TSS or brix), to skin color and acidity! 

As experts in measurement solutions for fresh produce growers and distributors, Felix Instruments will work as a distribution partner for Hanna—assisting clients using the F-750 in selecting, acquiring, and implementing complementary Hanna Instruments including refractometers, PH meters, acid titrators, and other analytical lab equipment.
