Tönnies grows in the UK
The Tönnies Group has taken over the British sausage producer Riverway Foods. The English family business specialises in sausage production for the British market. The quality products such as "Cumberland Sausages" are sold nationwide in the British trade.

"Together with the Crosby family, we want to expand our market share in Great Britain," says Carsten Jacobsen, Managing Director responsible for the British market at Tönnies. "Riverway Foods' quality products are a perfect match for our other Becketts and Direct Table products".
