Modern Meat becomes supplier for plant-based meat alternatives at Carbone Restaurant Group
Modern Plant-Based Foods Inc, a leading plant-based foods company, announced that its subsidiary Modern Meat has partnered to supply plant-based meat alternatives to Carbone Restaurant Group (CRG), a leading restaurant group and brand incubator with quick-service concepts including Ghost Kitchens.
Canadian-owned and operated CRG has developed the FAST FIRED by Carbone pizza brand, known for its individual, fresh, authentic and sustainable pizzas. FAST FIRED by Carbone is active in franchising restaurants across Canada and plans to open up to 100 new franchises over the next few years.
Restaurants at FAST FIRED by Carbone offer the Modern Meat Crumble and are working on three new plant-based menu options to launch this summer.
We are thrilled that Carbone Restaurant Group has chosen us as their plant-based alternative of choice, opined Tara Haddad, Founder and CEO of Modern Plant-Based Foods. This group is a fast-growing company that is making critical changes in the restaurant landscape. CRG is planning for strong growth and, under the leadership of CEO and Founder Benjamin Nasberg, is supported by a management team with a proven track record. We expect to grow and succeed together in the coming months.
CRG is well positioned to stay ahead of the curve on new innovations and has partnered with some of the world's leading high-tech food innovators. In addition to quick service restaurants, the Group is also investing in robotic vending machines for pizzas and related technology. It is also a leader in Ghost Kitchens brands, which are app-driven restaurants that offer food for takeaway or delivery. Because Ghost Kitchens don't have a public area, they can be set up almost anywhere, even in shipping containers.
Consumers are looking for high-quality pizzas with a handmade flair, made with the freshest ingredients and incorporating plant-based alternatives, said Benjamin Nasberg of CRG. By combining our expertise and success in the foodservice industry with Modern Meats'
(https://www.themodernmeat.com/) focus on high quality, authentic ingredients, we are able to take advantage of many synergies, offer customers the best plant-based pizzas and create a very profitable relationship. Our efforts to establish our brand nationwide continue to gain momentum. We are excited about the opportunity to further market our products under the various CRG concepts. By partnering with CRG, Modern Meat demonstrates exceptional commitment, not only to its customers, but also to broader, innovative initiatives, Tara stated.
The company would also like to announce that it has awarded Media Relations Publishing a €300,000 mandate. Media Relations Publishing has been engaged to provide consultancy services to increase the brand awareness of the company.
Certain services to be provided by Media Relations Publishing are expected to include investor relations activities in accordance with CSE guidelines and applicable securities laws. The company plans to spend an additional €300,000 on its brand awareness in the future. (dpa)
