Molson Coors Brewing Company Reports 4% Fall In Q3 Profit

Molson Coors Brewing Company (TAP-A) reported earnings for third quarter that declined from last year. The company said its earnings declined to $259.9 million, or $1.40 per share. This was down from $271.5 million, or $1.46 per share, in last year's third quarter. 

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.28 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items. The company said revenue for the quarter fell 12.8% to $1.02 billion. This was down from $1.17 billion last year.
