Britvic Says John Gibney To Retire As CFO In April 2016
Soft drinks maker Britvic Plc (BVIC.L) announced that John Gibney, Chief Financial Officer or CFO, has informed the board of his intention to retire in April 2016.
The company said the board has initiated a process to appoint John's successor and it is anticipated that there will be a period of overlap to ensure a smooth transition.
Britvic further said that John Gibney will continue to play a full and active role in the business and he remains a member of the board and will continue as Chief Financial Officer until his successor is appointed.
John joined Britvic in 1999, having previously held a number of senior roles across Bass plc. (dpa)
