Nestlé Waters joins consortium to boost PET plastic recyclability
Nestlé
The consortium funded by Carbios and L’Oréal aims to help make a circular plastic economy an industrial reality.
Carbios has developed an innovative process that breaks down PET plastic waste into its original components, which can then be used to produce high quality PET that is equivalent to virgin PET.
This proprietary technology can pave the way for 100% recycled PET content in new products and offers the potential to recycle PET plastics repeatedly.
